Policy updates effective immediately.

Rush Fees

Rush accommodations have become the norm rather than the exception so moving forward:

  • 50% upcharge on any order requiring a two-week turnaround.
  • Limited to five (5) SKUs per rush order.
  • Shipping costs vary based on requested urgency.
  • Production approval required before any rush commitment.
  • Approved warranty items are exempt.

Custom Fabrication

For modifications to stock SKUs that require design and engineering:

  • Simple changes (custom height, depth): start at $250 per change.
  • Custom hood designs: start at $1,500 per design.
  • All other custom elements: quoted individually.
  • Engineering fee applies only to the first prototype – reorders are not charged again.
  • Turnaround: 2 business days for a quote, 3 additional days for a drawing.
  • Every custom part requires an approved drawing and a unique SKU before production.
  • May extend lead time.

ZBQ Quick Ship Standards

  • ZBQ’s are Sonoma as standard.
  • Windswept: additional cost, +2 weeks lead time, limited to Virga (shaker) and Anvil (slab).
  • Other door styles are still available, but the order will be processed as a standard order, not a ZBQ.
  • Countertops and appliances remain available within the ZBQ footprint.
  • If ZB is not supplying the countertop, the grill front cannot be pre-cut — the installer handles it in the field.

CDS  (Cabinet Design Service)

  • A completed form with accurate dimensions, appliance specs, and collection is required before we begin.
  • Appliance specs and field dimensions are mandatory before any production order.
  • Allow 3 business days for initial design, 2 business days for simple revisions.

Grill Base Cabinets

  • The designer is responsible for verifying the grill and liner will fit within the cabinet ordered.
  • The liner is the controlling specification; it contains the grill.
  • The grill is not relevant to fit if the liner contain the grill.
  • Typical requirements are 3” larger than the grill for the liner as a minimum.

Material Costs & Pricing

The good news is we have pre-purchased enough inventory to hold current pricing through August 1. If material costs return to pre-conflict levels by then, there will be no price increase.

Deliveries

LTL costs remain outside our control. Local Zah Truck delivery will increase from 5% to 6%. We will revisit this as conditions improve.

Bespoke Charges

For customization beyond basic height, width, or depth changes:

  • Non-standard door styles or cabinet configurations: minimum 25%–50% of project total, depending on complexity.
  • Radius work and highly complex designs: available by quote only; may incur a set up/fixturing fee.
